Kittl: Creator Design Platform Company Raises $36 Million

By Amit Chowdhry • Jan 24, 2024

Kittl, a creator design platform, announced it raised $36 million in Series B funding led by IVP. This comes just nine months after the company raised $11 million in Series A funding. The small gap in funding rounds is largely due to the company’s rapid growth, and now they are in the position to double down on their mission to make design more accessible.

Over the last year, the company grew its designers to over 1 million globally and achieved cash flow positive results. The company is also now in the process of making its platform available to entire teams and not just individuals.

Kittl pioneered the first text-to-graphic generative AI model in graphic design and simplified complex workflows into intuitive processes . Plus, the company also recently started rolling out Kittl AI ImageGen V2 – which supports specific prompts and various aspect ratios.

The company currently employs over 60 people and they plan to hire 50 more this year.

KEY QUOTE:

“We’re reimagining the way graphic designers create by simplifying the outdated norms of design creation – end-to-end, from ideation to production. And we’re doing it on a global scale.  While the US remains our primary market, this new capital enhances our capability to expand into new territories, especially in Asia, Europe, and South America.”
