Global law firm K&L Gates has announced that Rodolphe Ruffié-Farrugia has joined its Perth office as a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He will also be part of the firm’s International Arbitration practice group.
Coming from Clifford Chance, Ruffié-Farrugia specializes in international commercial arbitration and investor-state dispute settlement. He advises clients on high-stakes, cross-border disputes primarily in the resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors. He also has experience in emerging sectors such as space and video gaming.
Ruffié-Farrugia is a native French speaker and is also fluent in English and Mandarin. His addition to the firm follows a series of other recent hires in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, expanding K&L Gates’s international arbitration capabilities.
Ruffié-Farrugia’s arrival follows the additions of Washington, DC partner Thomas Allen, Wilmington partner Robert Beste, New York partner Todd Fishman, Orange County partner Eva Weiler, and Seattle partner John Bender to the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in the last year.
