Klipboard, a global provider of business management software for retail, distribution, manufacturing, servicing, and rental businesses, has completed the acquisition of Savance Enterprise, an ERP platform built specifically for wholesale distributors in the United States.
The deal adds Savance Enterprise’s distribution-focused ERP capabilities to Klipboard’s portfolio as the company pushes deeper into North American wholesale markets, where distributors increasingly want a single system that connects finance, sales, purchasing, and warehouse operations while producing real-time operational insight. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Savance Enterprise is designed for wholesale distribution verticals, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial supply. The platform emphasizes usability and user adoption, while its infrastructure is built to support many concurrent users working with large volumes of data. The company said the software is engineered to scale from single-location operators to multi-site, multi-warehouse organizations, and to help customers improve efficiency, sales execution, and margins by consolidating workflows across accounting, purchasing, sales, and warehouse management.
Klipboard said the acquisition will strengthen its industry expertise in wholesale distribution and broaden the set of solutions it can offer customers, including access to Klipboard’s cloud-hosted business management platforms. For Savance Enterprise customers, the combination is positioned as an expansion of product options and resources available to support implementation and ongoing innovation.
Savance traces its roots to 1998, when it was founded to provide network and software solutions aimed at automating business processes. Savance Enterprise was created in 1999 as an ERP application suite and has built its reputation around customer feedback, service, and value, according to the company. Klipboard is a vertically focused, cloud-based business management software provider serving more than 55,000 enterprise and SMB customers across 70-plus countries, with more than 1,600 employees and offices spanning the U.K., Europe, the U.S., Africa, the Nordic countries, and Australia.
