Kohort: $7 Million Series A Raised To Build AI User Acquisition Agents For Mobile Game Studios

Kohort announced the completion of a $7 million Series A financing round led by The Raine Group to support the development of its artificial intelligence-powered user acquisition agents for mobile game studios.

The funding expands The Raine Group’s relationship with Kohort following its participation in the company’s 2025 seed financing round and a commercial partnership over the past nine months.

Kohort said it is building an AI-driven user acquisition operating system designed to improve campaign optimization and long-term user acquisition performance for mobile gaming companies. The company believes accurate long-term predictions and contextual understanding of advertising network behavior are critical to effective user acquisition management.

The company’s agent suite is focused on three core capabilities: campaign optimization, deep research, and automated reporting. Kohort’s flagship product, Ktrl, generates network-specific bidding strategies and campaign targets across return-on-ad-spend, cost-per-install, and cost-per-engagement campaign types while integrating directly with advertising networks.

Kohort said its Deep Research capabilities provide on-demand analysis of user acquisition trends benchmarked against more than $1 billion in annual spend flowing through the company’s platform. The platform also generates automated reports and presentation decks designed to provide consistent operational insights across executive, product, live operations, and user acquisition teams.

The company said its predictive models are trained on approximately $6 billion in historical user acquisition spend data across hundreds of mobile games and generate daily campaign-specific predictions with approximately 95% accuracy.

Kohort integrates with existing studio data warehouses and can train client-specific models in under 20 minutes, according to the company.

Kohort provides analytics, forecasting, and user acquisition optimization tools for the mobile gaming industry through machine learning-based predictive analytics and cohort forecasting technologies.
