Langan Engineering & Environmental Services announced the acquisition of Kirkman Engineering, a Dallas-Fort Worth-based engineering firm specializing in land development projects across the commercial, warehouse, and residential sectors.
Founded in 2014 by Shea Kirkman and Patrick Filson, Kirkman Engineering strengthens Langan’s presence in Texas and marks the company’s fourth acquisition in the state. Following the transaction, Langan’s Texas operations will comprise 225 employees across seven offices.
The acquisition expands Langan’s capabilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and supports the firm’s continued growth throughout the state. Founded in 1970, Langan employs approximately 2,300 professionals and operates 58 offices throughout the U.S. The company also maintains international offices through its wholly owned subsidiary, Langan International.
