LastPass has appointed Chris Michelmore as chief revenue officer, tapping a veteran go-to-market leader to accelerate the adoption of the company’s Secure Access Essentials offering. Michelmore joins LastPass from Zoom Communications, where he spent more than a decade building and scaling revenue organizations across small business, mid-market, and commercial segments.
In his new role, he will lead LastPass’ global B2B sales organization and acquisition strategy, with a focus on disciplined growth, operational excellence, and strengthening customer trust as businesses face increasingly complex security and access needs amid rising adoption of SaaS and AI.
LastPass said the hire reflects continued investment in its B2B growth strategy as organizations prioritize credential protection, strong authentication such as MFA and SSO, and visibility into SaaS and AI tool usage to speed time to value for lean IT teams.
LastPass positions Secure Access Essentials as a way for people and organizations to manage and protect access across passwords, apps, and AI tools without adding complexity, and said it is trusted by more than 100,000 businesses and millions of users worldwide.
