LateralCare has appointed William Reau as chief executive officer and Mani Nedunchelian as chief technology officer as the company looks to scale revenue alai, its AI native platform for revenue cycle management.
The company said the leadership changes come as healthcare organizations face pressure to stabilize revenue and reduce operational strain, driving demand for AI native systems that move beyond task-level automation to deliver autonomy, accountability, and measurable impact across the revenue cycle.
Reau brings more than 25 years of experience across healthcare operations, SaaS platforms, and private equity-backed growth. LateralCare said his background includes senior leadership roles at healthcare technology companies, including Hallmark Healthcare Solutions, as well as early-career experience as a Trauma-Burn ICU registered nurse and ECMO specialist at the University of Michigan. The company also said Reau previously founded and exited a healthcare workforce solutions company. In the CEO role, he will focus on scaling the company’s AI native strategy into repeatable, enterprise-grade execution by aligning product innovation, customer outcomes, and go-to-market discipline, while strengthening operational foundations, deepening customer partnerships, and delivering measurable financial and operational impact through revenue growth.
Nedunchelian joins as CTO with experience designing and deploying intelligent systems at enterprise scale, including senior technology leadership roles at Walmart, Hewlett Packard, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. LateralCare said he has worked on the shift from traditional automation to agentic AI, building systems where intelligent agents reason across context, adapt to change, and act autonomously with built-in governance.
LateralCare positions itself as a healthcare technology company focused on responsibly integrating agentic AI to transform complex healthcare operations. The company said its flagship platform modernizes revenue cycle management by combining intelligent automation, explainable decisioning, and human-in-the-loop governance to help healthcare organizations improve financial performance with greater clarity, confidence, and control.
