Latham & Watkins announced that Raghav Bajaj has joined the firm’s Austin office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice and Litigation & Trial Department. Bajaj is a skilled patent litigator whose practice focuses on contested Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), such as inter partes reviews (IPRs), post-grant reviews, and their respective appeals.
Bajaj counsels clients and litigates all aspects of PTAB proceedings and appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. And he serves as lead counsel for petitioners and patent owners in various industries and technologies, including computer hardware, computer software, networking, e-commerce, and mobile device applications.
Bajaj joins Latham from Haynes and Boone in Austin. And he received his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA in computer science, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science.
