Latham & Watkins is bringing on Angie Ng as a partner in its Antitrust & Competition Practice, based in Singapore. Ng, widely regarded as one of Asia’s leading antitrust lawyers, will play a central role in expanding Latham’s Asia-Pacific antitrust capabilities and complementing its established China practice.
Ng has advised clients before competition authorities across major jurisdictions in the region, drawing on experience gained while living and working in Australia, Mainland China, and Hong Kong. Her earlier service in Singapore’s diplomatic corps adds a layer of government policy insight to her cross‑border legal expertise, enhancing Latham’s ability to handle complex multi‑jurisdictional transactions and investigations.
Latham views Asia as a key pillar of its global antitrust platform and is investing further in the region as regulatory scrutiny and enforcement intensify. Ng’s arrival is expected to strengthen support for clients on strategic M&A, private equity, and regulatory matters, while deepening the firm’s seamless coordination across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Ng joins Latham from Ashurst LLP in Singapore. She holds an LLB from The University of Sydney and a BA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, and is admitted as a solicitor in both Australia and Hong Kong.
