Latham & Watkins Adds Kyra Bromley As Partner To Expand Antitrust Practice

By Amit Chowdhry • Nov 17, 2025

Latham & Watkins has strengthened its Antitrust and Competition capabilities with the addition of Kyra Bromley as a partner in the firm’s New York office. Bromley, a leading Hart-Scott-Rodino practitioner, brings deep expertise in U.S. regulatory requirements for complex and cross-border transactions and will play a significant role in supporting the firm’s expanding transactional practices.

Bromley is widely recognized for her work guiding companies and private equity firms through federal antitrust filings mandated by the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. Her arrival comes at a time when HSR reviews have become more detailed and increasingly central to merger clearance strategies. Latham leaders noted that the evolving regulatory environment has created heightened demand for seasoned HSR counsel capable of managing multifaceted and time-sensitive filings.

Her practice centers on navigating clients through pre-transaction merger control processes before the US Federal Trade Commission, the US Department of Justice, and other national and international competition authorities. Bromley has advised on transactions across numerous industries, including financial services, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, technology, manufacturing, entertainment, media, sports, and consumer products. Her experience complements Latham’s global platform, which continues to expand through both lateral hiring and internal promotions.

Latham’s Antitrust and Competition Practice has added six lateral partners this year across the United States and Europe, while also promoting 12 lawyers internally in 2025. Bromley’s appointment adds further depth to a practice that has been expanding its global footprint and strengthening its capabilities in litigation, merger control, and transaction clearance.

Bromley joins the firm from Debevoise & Plimpton. She holds a JD from Emory University School of Law and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
