Rhys McWhirter, an experienced technology transactions lawyer, has been appointed a partner at Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong, strengthening the firm’s Asia corporate practice. He brings expertise in commercial law, intellectual property, data privacy, and artificial intelligence, advising leading organizations in the technology, finance, infrastructure, mining, and aviation sectors across Asia Pacific.
Previously with Eversheds Sutherland, McWhirter holds degrees in Organic Chemistry and Law from Macquarie University, as well as a legal diploma from The College of Law.
