Latham & Watkins: Serena Lee Joins London Office As Partner

Latham & Watkins announced that Serena Lee has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in the Transactional Tax and Investment Funds Practices. And Lee advises companies, asset managers, and financial institutions on all aspects of corporate tax, with expertise in investment fund work ranging from fund formation and management business structuring, through to structuring acquisitions and disposals of investments. 

Lee also has experience in advising on oil and gas tax issues and shareholder activism matters. And her experience spans both private practice and working for His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC), the UK’s tax authority, where she advised policy teams on the Finance Bill and corporation tax issues. 

Lee joins Latham & Watkins from Akin and she received a BA from the University of Oxford before completing her LPC at The College of Law, London.
