Launchpoint has acquired Kashie.AI, an AI-driven music content platform in a transaction valued at $300,000. Kashie was co-founded by Richard Ahn and Albert Zhang. Ahn founded Kashie after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, and the company launched in June with approximately $300 in initial out-of-pocket costs, according to the announcement. Ahn led product direction and go-to-market, while Zhang led engineering.

Kashie produces short-form content for more than 30,000 users, spanning music artists and record labels. The company said it reached about $30,000 in monthly revenue three and a half months after launch and is widely considered an industry leader in its category.

Launchpoint said the acquisition supports its product roadmap for creator and brand collaborations as it continues to push further into the music space. The New York-based company focuses on creator brand campaigns with a concentration in college sports, and cited customers including Dr Pepper, C4 Energy, Gopuff, and New Era.

As part of the transaction, Ahn will join Launchpoint as Chief Marketing Officer, and Zhang will join as a founding engineer. They will work alongside Launchpoint CEO Tristan Rhee and CTO Adam Barr-Neuwirth.
