Lawfront has announced two additional acquisitions across its groupFisher Jones Greenwood is acquiring Giles Wilson, and Farleys is acquiring Houldsworth Solicitors, as the legal services platform continues to expand across regional U.K. markets.

The transactions bring Lawfront’s total acquisitions to 18 over the past five years and are expected to lift group revenue to approximately £175 million this year.

Fisher Jones Greenwood, or FJG, has acquired Giles Wilson, a Leigh-on-Sea law firm with approximately 35 employees and an established presence across South Essex.

The acquisition strengthens FJG’s position across Essex and Suffolk and expands its Private Client practice.

As part of the transaction, FJG will also add a dedicated Vulnerable Client team, further broadening its private client capabilities.

FJG now operates from the three largest cities in Essex and is using the acquisition to deepen its regional footprint while maintaining a locally focused client service model.

Separately, Farleys has acquired Houldsworth Solicitors, a Clitheroe-based law firm with a 27-person team.

The entire Houldsworth team is expected to join Farleys, preserving existing client relationships while giving those clients access to a broader range of legal services across the Farleys platform.

The transaction is the third acquisition Farleys has completed since joining Lawfront.

Lawfront said the two deals reflect its wider strategy of supporting regional law firms with technology, artificial intelligence, capital and operational resources while allowing those firms to retain their individual market presence.

The platform describes its model as providing regional firms with national scale while preserving the local relationships and service models that have helped those businesses establish strong positions in their markets.

Lawfront has been increasing its investment in technology and AI adoption, people and acquisition funding, enabling its member firms to pursue additional organic and inorganic growth.

The latest deals deepen the group’s presence across Essex, Suffolk and Lancashire and add more than 60 professionals across the two acquired firms.

Lawfront also indicated that additional acquisitions across the group are under consideration.

The strategy is designed to create larger regional legal businesses capable of competing more effectively while benefiting from shared infrastructure and greater investment capacity.
