Today Leaf Group Ltd (NYSE: LEAF) announced that it appointed Brian Gephart as permanent chief financial officer, effective on October 16. Gephart was serving as interim CFO since May and as chief accounting officer since June 2019. The company will be reporting its Q3 2020 financial results after the market closes on October 29, 2020.
Gephart previously worked at JH Capital Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. At JH Capital Group — which is a diversified specialty finance company that provides a wide array of solutions for consumers and businesses across a broad range of assets — he worked as the chief accounting officer. Before JH Capital Group, Gephart spent six years as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services where he had advised a variety of private and public companies on capital market transactions, M&A, and financial reporting and accounting matters.
Gephart earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hilldale College, his MBA from DePaul University, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
