Stand Together Ventures Lab announced an investment in LearningSpring, a school choice management platform designed to simplify how families, schools, and states navigate K–12 education options, as demand for school choice continues to rise across the United States.
The investment reflects growing momentum behind education savings accounts, vouchers, and scholarship programs, which have expanded across dozens of states. At the same time, a significant share of U.S. parents are actively exploring alternative schooling options for their children, signaling a shift away from traditional one-size-fits-all education models.
LearningSpring provides a unified platform that brings together school discovery, eligibility verification, enrollment, and funding management. Families can compare public, charter, private, microschool, and hybrid learning options, determine eligibility for financial support programs, and manage applications through a centralized system. The platform also includes its Education Freedom Wallet™, which helps families manage education-related funds.
For scholarship-granting organizations and administrators, LearningSpring offers tools for application processing, donor management, fund distribution, and compliance reporting, helping streamline what has traditionally been a fragmented and complex process.
The investment adds LearningSpring to the education portfolio of Stand Together Ventures Lab, which focuses on backing companies addressing large-scale societal challenges. The firm emphasized the importance of infrastructure that supports expanding school choice policies and enables families to make informed education decisions.
LearningSpring said its mission is to bring clarity, transparency, and accountability to school choice programs while improving accessibility for families navigating an increasingly complex education landscape.
KEY QUOTES:
“Families want more than proximity when it comes to choosing a school for their child. LearningSpring is building the infrastructure that turns school choice policy into a real, accessible experience for families. Their track record, combined with the momentum behind ESA legislation nationally, makes this exactly the kind of investment we back.”
Jonathan Jou, Managing Director and Head of Investments, Stand Together Ventures Lab
“As a mom, I have experienced how confusing school choice can be when families are left to navigate policy on their own. Families are our north star, and our conviction is simple: School choice should mean clarity, not confusion. That’s why preventing fraud through accountability and transparency is non-negotiable, and creating awareness with clarity and usability is imperative. We are excited and proud to work alongside partners like Stand Together Ventures Lab to build an education system worthy of that trust.”
