Legora, a collaborative AI platform transforming the legal profession, has closed a $150 million Series C funding round at a valuation of $1.8 billion. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued participation from existing backers ICONIQ, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator. The new capital will support the company’s rapid global expansion and accelerate its growing product roadmap.
The investment follows a period of exponential growth for Legora’s AI-powered platform, which has seen a sharp increase in adoption among legal professionals in recent months. Since May 2025, the company’s customer base has expanded from 250 to over 400 organizations, while its geographic footprint has doubled from 20 to more than 40 markets worldwide.
Legora’s platform is now used daily by tens of thousands of legal professionals from leading firms and enterprises, including Linklaters, Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, and MinterEllison. These organizations work with Legora not only as customers but also as strategic collaborators, helping shape how AI integrates into legal workflows for greater speed, accuracy, and collaboration.
The company’s success has been fueled by its focus on co-developing AI solutions in close partnership with clients. From the initial engagement through to full-scale rollout, Legora embeds its technology and expertise within each organization, ensuring tailored, sustainable adoption that delivers both immediate results and long-term transformation.
With nearly 200 legal experts and technologists across offices in Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, and Sydney, Legora plans to more than double its headcount over the next year and establish new international hubs to meet growing global demand.
