Legrand announced the acquisition of SRS Power Engineering in Malaysia, further expanding the company’s footprint in Asia and strengthening its capabilities in low- and medium-voltage power protection solutions for datacenters and industrial applications.

Based in Selangor, SRS Power Engineering specializes in critical power infrastructure solutions and employs more than 280 people. The company generates annual revenue of approximately €90 million.

The acquisition builds on Legrand’s recent expansion efforts in Malaysia following its acquisition of Linkk Busway Systems last year. The company said the transaction enhances its ability to deliver localized solutions for critical datacenter power supply infrastructure in the region.

Legrand noted that the SRS Power Engineering transaction is its fifth acquisition announced in 2026, with all acquisitions focused on energy transition and datacenter-related markets. The company said those sectors represented nearly half of its total revenue at the end of 2025.

Combined, the acquisitions announced this year are expected to contribute around €370 million in additional annual revenue as Legrand continues executing its long-term 2030 strategic roadmap.

Legrand reported total sales of €9.5 billion in 2025. The company operates as a global provider of electrical and digital building infrastructure solutions serving residential, commercial, and datacenter markets worldwide.

The company also announced several upcoming financial dates, including its General Meeting of Shareholders on May 27, 2026, dividend payment on June 2, 2026, first-half 2026 results on July 29, 2026, and a Capital Markets Day scheduled for September 29, 2026, in Singapore.
