LEHR, the nation’s leading emergency vehicle upfitter and a portfolio company of Broadwing Capital, has acquired the emergency vehicle upfitting assets of ProLogic ITS, a technology and public safety solutions provider headquartered in Acworth, Georgia. The transaction is LEHR’s tenth add-on acquisition in approximately two years, adding six locations across Georgia, Alabama and Florida to LEHR’s network of more than 30 nationwide sites and deepening the company’s presence in the Southeast while unlocking new capabilities to serve federal agency fleets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
ProLogic ITS has spent more than a decade outfitting emergency vehicles for law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies across Georgia, Florida and the surrounding Southeast, alongside a broader technology integration business. A defining characteristic of the acquired operations is its security clearance profile: ProLogic ITS upfitting technicians are background checked, drug tested and hold Level 3 Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) clearance, meeting the stringent security standards required by federal law enforcement and government agency clients. This credential opens a category of federal agency fleet work that requires cleared personnel and that most regional upfitters cannot access, extending LEHR’s addressable customer base beyond state and local agencies into the federal market.
The existing ProLogic ITS leadership team will remain in place and report to Brandon Jessup, LEHR’s Vice President of Eastern Operations, who brings more than 15 years of vehicle upfitting and repair experience and currently oversees LEHR’s operations across the Eastern United States. Jessup will lead integration of the ProLogic ITS upfitting operations into LEHR’s national network while the location’s existing technicians and sales team remain in place to ensure service continuity for current customers.
LEHR, headquartered in Orange County, California, provides turnkey emergency and government vehicle upfitting services from initial design through final delivery, serving police, fire, EMS, utility, security and other government agency fleets. Broadwing Capital, its private equity backer, frames the ProLogic ITS deal as another example of LEHR’s disciplined acquisition-led growth strategy, noting that the addition brings a strong regional presence, experienced talent and specialized federal capabilities that further strengthen the platform for continued expansion.
