LEHR, a national emergency vehicle upfitter, announced the acquisition of Enforcement One, a Florida-based emergency vehicle upfitting company serving law enforcement, emergency response, and government agencies. The deal represents LEHR’s eighth add-on acquisition and expands the company’s operational footprint across Florida and the broader Southeast region.

Headquartered in Orange County, California, LEHR provides turnkey upfitting services for police, emergency, utility, security, and government vehicles. The company said the acquisition supports its strategy of building a unified national platform capable of delivering consistent service across multiple jurisdictions as demand for emergency vehicle solutions continues to grow.

Enforcement One was co-founded in 2011 by Aaron Watkins and his wife after initially providing vehicle light installations for a towing agency. Over the last 15 years, the company expanded into a regional upfitting provider with three facilities, 27 employees, and more than 500 vehicle upfits annually throughout Florida’s tri-county region.

Aaron Watkins said the partnership with LEHR creates broader operational and growth opportunities than the company could achieve independently. Watkins will remain involved with the business in a consulting role following the acquisition.

LEHR also announced that Enforcement One General Manager James “Al” Warrell will continue leading day-to-day operations. Warrell has spent 13 years helping build the company’s operational infrastructure.

LEHR currently operates more than 30 locations nationwide and is backed by Broadwing Capital.

KEY QUOTES:

“Enforcement One is exactly the type of partner we look for with the right culture, the right people, and an uncompromising commitment to product quality. This acquisition increases our footprint in Florida and the Southeast. The emergency vehicle upfitting industry is evolving, and agencies increasingly need partners who can deliver consistent, high-quality service across multiple jurisdictions. Each acquisition we make strengthens our ability to do exactly that, and Enforcement One is a tremendous addition to the LEHR platform.”

Daniel Hamm, Chief Executive Officer, LEHR

“As a standalone business, there’s a cap on what you can do when it comes to operations and opportunities. Being part of a powerhouse national brand like LEHR with 30+ locations across the country changes that equation entirely.”

Aaron Watkins, Co-Founder, Enforcement One
