Leidos appointed Stephen Vather as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, adding an executive with experience across investor relations, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

Vather joins Leidos from Leonardo DRS, where he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.

During his tenure at Leonardo DRS, he helped lead the company’s return to the public markets while overseeing responsibilities spanning corporate development and investor engagement.

Before joining Leonardo DRS, Vather spent nine years at ManTech.

At ManTech, he led mergers and acquisitions as well as investor relations, giving him experience communicating with shareholders and analysts while also supporting strategic transactions and broader corporate growth initiatives.

Vather began his career in investment banking, adding capital markets experience to his background in corporate development and investor relations.

At Leidos, he will be responsible for engagement with shareholders and the broader investment community as the company continues executing its NorthStar 2030 strategy.

Leidos said the strategy is focused on supporting growth and delivering differentiated value for customers.

Vather will succeed Stuart Davis, who will continue leading investor relations through Leidos’ third-quarter earnings cycle before retiring in March.

Vather and Davis will work together during the transition period to maintain continuity with investors and analysts.

Davis rejoined Leidos in 2021 after previously working at the company from 2006 through 2009.

Across a 42-year career, he has held leadership positions spanning investor relations and strategy at Perspecta, CSRA, ManTech, and SRA International.

Leidos is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and serves government and commercial customers across digital, technology, and mission-focused markets.

The company has approximately 50,000 employees globally and reported annual revenue of approximately $17.2 billion for the fiscal year ended January 2, 2026.
