Lennox announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Heat Controller, an HVAC equipment supplier serving distributors across North America.

Heat Controller is known for its Comfort-Aire and Century brands. The company serves distributors through a broad product portfolio, product availability, strong brand offering, and customer service capabilities.

The acquisition is expected to expand Lennox’s ability to serve small and mid-size HVAC distributors. Lennox said the transaction will broaden access to differentiated equipment offerings and create new growth opportunities in the North American HVAC market.

Lennox said Heat Controller’s distributor-focused model aligns with its goal of supporting partners with flexibility, availability, and service.

The acquisition is expected to close later this year, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Lennox is a provider of energy-efficient building and home comfort solutions. The company serves residential and commercial customers through heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and water heating systems.
