Leo, a network of expert facilities maintenance service providers, has partnered with Bevara Building Services and Blackfin, two providers of dedicated on-site building engineers, as part of its strategy to build a national facility services business. The announcement marks another step in Leo’s effort to expand its capabilities by aligning with established operators and providing them with resources to accelerate growth.

Founded in 1996 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Bevara Building Services has built a nationwide footprint delivering building engineering, maintenance, electrical projects, and inspection services. The company employs more than 200 engineers who provide around-the-clock support to customers nationwide.

Blackfin, founded in 2006 in Kansas City, Kansas, has grown from a local provider into a national team of more than 80 engineers. The company focuses on serving commercial and industrial property managers, including office, retail, and privately owned government real estate, with dedicated building engineers and technical support.

Through the investment, Bevara and Blackfin will be brought together under the Leo platform to enhance their collective service offerings and operational capabilities. The partnership is designed to expand geographic reach, strengthen service capacity, and create additional growth opportunities for employees across both organizations.

Leo said the addition of nearly 300 field professionals from Bevara and Blackfin will accelerate its expansion in enterprise service capabilities, enhancing its ability to serve regional and national clients throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Bevara and Blackfin will continue delivering building engineering and maintenance services, while benefiting from Leo’s broader platform and support. Leo operates as a facility services platform offering interior and exterior solutions through self-perform technicians and a vetted network of service partners.

Leo is supported by Orion, a commercial and industrial field services holding company that invests in market-leading businesses and builds national platforms across multiple field services sectors.
