Liberty Waste Solutions Acquires M&M Garbage Disposal To Deepen Triad Market Presence In North Carolina

By Amit Chowdhry • Jun 7, 2026

Liberty Waste Solutions has announced the acquisition of M&M Garbage Disposal, a subscription-based residential waste collector headquartered in Asheboro, North Carolina, serving the greater Greensboro and Triad market. The deal is Liberty’s third acquisition in the region, following the earlier acquisitions of AJ Disposal and Randolph County Garbage Services, further increasing residential route density and deepening the company’s presence across the Asheboro and Greensboro areas. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The M&M service area overlaps with Liberty’s existing Triad footprint, enabling the company to absorb routes onto its current fleet with no incremental capital expenditures — a key strategic advantage that reflects the buy-and-build discipline Liberty has pursued since receiving financial backing from Allied Industrial Partners in 2022. Since that partnership began, Liberty has modernized its fleet, implemented advanced routing and dispatch technologies, expanded its suite of waste management services, and divested its scrap metal division in April 2024 to become a pure-play vertically integrated provider of waste solutions.

Liberty is a leading provider of integrated waste and recycling solutions across North Carolina, serving residential, commercial, and municipal clients. Allied Industrial Partners is a lower-middle market private equity firm with over $1 billion in assets under management, focused on high-growth companies across industrial subsectors including environmental services, industrial rentals, manufacturing, distribution, and critical infrastructure. The firm was founded in 2019 and takes an active, hands-on approach to scaling platforms through disciplined acquisition strategies.

The addition of M&M continues Liberty’s expansion across one of its core regional markets as the company works to build long-term value through operational synergies and geographic density.
