LifeCare has completed the sale of The Blake at Tyler, an assisted living and memory care community located in Tyler, Texas. The transaction closed on May 6, 2026, marking another milestone in the company’s track record of developing and stabilizing high‑quality senior living communities. The buyer is a publicly traded REIT, and financial terms were not disclosed. The community will continue to be operated by Blake Management Group, ensuring continuity in service and care for residents.

Opened in 2024, The Blake at Tyler features 115 total units, including 72 assisted living units and 43 memory care units. The community was designed to reflect the character of Tyler, known as the Rose Capital of America, while offering a resort‑style environment with hospitality‑driven service. LifeCare emphasized that the sale underscores the strength of the Tyler market and the value created through its partnership with Blake Management Group.

The Blake at Tyler includes a wide range of amenities such as a salon, chapel, theatre, physical therapy clinic, multiple dining venues, courtyards, and spacious suites with flexible floor plans. Its interiors were designed to evoke the feel of distinct rooms within a home, featuring custom lighting, comfortable gathering areas, and artwork inspired by the local area. In 2025, Banko Design received a Silver award from the American Society of Interior Designers Georgia Chapter for its work on the community.

LifeCare noted that the sale reflects its continued success in executing senior living projects from market selection through stabilization and disposition.
