Lightspeed Commerce has appointed technology industry veteran Rupal Hollenbeck to its Board of Directors, adding three decades of global technology and go-to-market leadership experience as the commerce platform focuses on executing its strategy and driving profitable growth. Hollenbeck’s appointment will become effective October 1, 2026.
She currently serves as President and Chief Business Officer of NextSilicon, which develops next-generation computing solutions for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
Previously, Hollenbeck was President and Chief Commercial Officer of Check Point Software Technologies, where she led global go-to-market operations.
She has also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Cerebras Systems and Oracle.
Earlier in her career, Hollenbeck held senior sales, marketing and general management positions at Intel, including leadership roles within its data center business and across the Asia-Pacific region.
She currently serves on the board of enterprise software security company Cequence Security.
Lightspeed said her combination of commercial, operational and international technology experience will support the company’s growth strategy.
The board appointment coincides with the departure of Nathalie Gaveau, who will step down effective September 30.
Lightspeed operates a commerce platform spanning point of sale, ecommerce, embedded payments, inventory, reporting, workforce and supplier management, financial services and wholesale capabilities for retail, golf and hospitality businesses in more than 100 countries.
