LimX Dynamics has raised nearly $200 million in a pre-IPO financing round to accelerate the development, manufacturing and global deployment of its general-purpose humanoid robots.
The embodied artificial intelligence company has now raised approximately $400 million over the past six months as it prepares for its next stage of commercial and capital market development.
The round attracted strategic and financial investors from China, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
New investors included IDG Capital, Lens Technology, GGG Group, Redstone VC, WestSummit Capital, and Hefei Binhu Industry Development Group. Stone Venture significantly increased its investment across multiple financing rounds. Existing investors Vitalbridge Capital, CoStone Capital, Nanshan SEI Investment, SAIC Motor-backed Shangqi Capital, and NIO Capital also made additional investments.
LimX Dynamics plans to use the funding to deepen the integration of high-level cognition with whole-body robotic control.
The company will also expand manufacturing and delivery capacity as it works toward deploying thousands of fully autonomous humanoid robots.
Additional capital will support LimX Dynamics’ international expansion, including a larger presence across Europe, the Middle East and other Asian markets.
The company is developing technology across the complete embodied AI stack, including robotics hardware, model-training infrastructure and an operating system that enables robots to reason, plan and perform physical actions.

System 0 is a foundation model focused on whole-body motion control.

System 1 includes humanoid Vision-Language-Action and Whole-Body Action Model skills, along with the infrastructure required to train those models.
Vision-Language-Action models allow robots to interpret visual information and natural-language instructions before converting them into physical actions.
LimX Dynamics’ System 2 is its embodied agentic operating system, known as COSA.
COSA uses large language models and world models to support reasoning, planning and autonomous decision-making.
