LinePoint Partners & Co., a family office firm that provides an exclusive affiliation model for ultra-high-net-worth breakaway advisors and single-family office leaders, has named Dan Cole as its new Chief Financial Officer and Head of Advanced Wealth Planning.
The appointment brings a highly experienced family office and corporate finance leader to the firm’s executive team, further strengthening its ability to deliver sophisticated wealth management solutions to its network of affiliated advisors and clients.
Cole has spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles at multibillion-dollar single-family offices, where he developed and implemented complex trust and estate structures, advanced tax strategies, and multigenerational wealth plans. His work has also encompassed the design of philanthropic programs, governance frameworks, and guiding next-generation family members in leadership and succession planning. Additionally, he has overseen finance transformations that modernized reporting systems, governance processes, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
Before joining LinePoint, Cole served as CFO for the embedded family office at Audax Group and was a senior leader at the Lowy Family Group, a global single-family office. In these roles, he directed U.S. finance operations, led tax strategy, and worked closely with top-tier outside advisors to resolve complex IRS matters. His expertise spans advanced tax compliance, wealth transfer planning, and the integration of financial strategies that align with long-term family objectives.
Cole will oversee LinePoint’s financial strategy and accounting operations while leading its in-house advanced wealth planning services. This includes providing affiliated advisors and single-family office executives with institutional-grade support in areas such as trust and estate planning, tax optimization, governance, succession, and philanthropy.
