Linklaters has added Marc-Olivier Roux as a Tax partner in Paris, with a team of specialist tax lawyers joining him as the firm expands its transactional tax capabilities across private equity, infrastructure and cross-border transactions.
Roux specializes in transactional tax with a focus on leveraged transactions and cross-border deal structuring.
He advises French and international investment funds, asset managers and corporate clients, with particular experience serving leading private equity and infrastructure funds.
Roux is joined by Clément Jouanolle as Counsel and Yacine Ouldali as Managing Associate.
The team joins from PwC, where they advised investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and portfolio companies on transaction-related tax matters.
Roux has also practiced at French and U.S. law firms and has advised clients on tax issues involving M&A, structured financings and real estate transactions.
The appointments strengthen Linklaters’ tax support for its Corporate/M&A, Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency, and Energy & Infrastructure practices.
Together with partners Cyril Boussion and Leïla Juvin, the additions create a 10-lawyer transactional tax team able to support investment funds from fundraising and structuring through portfolio transactions and exits.
The appointments follow a broader series of senior additions to Linklaters’ Paris office across public law, leveraged finance, restructuring, financial regulation, corporate M&A and private equity.
