Generative AI (GenAI) company announced it closed a $250 million early-stage funding round led by Advanced Micro Devices. This funding round will help the company accelerate the development, scaling, and deployment of its Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs), lightweight, general-purpose AI models that unlock private, efficient, and reliable enterprise-grade AI for all.

At Liquid, the company aims to build the most capable and efficient AI system at every scale. Since its founding, the company has worked to prove its science and technology scales, released a text-based model, announced multimodal LFMs, and started testing its AI products with key partners to demonstrate their real-world impact.

The company will use Series A funding for the next phase to scale compute infrastructure, expedite product readiness on the edge and on-premise, and bring advanced AI offerings to a broader audience through its valued partnerships.

The company will integrate its AI products into mission-critical workflows in many sectors, such as consumer electronics, telecommunication, financial services, e-commerce, and biotechnology. This funding round will also accelerate Liquid AI’s science and technology development, scaling the advantages of LFMs across more model sizes and data modalities.
