Littlebird has raised $11 million in seed funding to support the launch of its full-context AI assistant, designed to understand users’ work automatically without requiring manual input. The round was led by Lotus Studio, with participation from angel investors including Lenny Rachitsky and Scott Belsky.

Based in San Francisco, the company is positioning its product as a new category of AI assistant that continuously observes and understands a user’s digital workflow. Unlike traditional AI tools that rely on prompts and manual context sharing, Littlebird’s system integrates directly with applications, transcribes meetings in real time, and captures ongoing activity across a user’s screen.

The platform enables users to query past work, retrieve insights, draft documents, and connect information across previously siloed tools. According to the company, internal survey data showed that 84% of users saved at least half a day per week using the product, while 80% reported reduced day-to-day work anxiety.

Littlebird operates as a native macOS application and emphasizes privacy and security. The company states it is SOC 2 certified and compliant with GDPR and CCPA, with all data encrypted and not used to train AI models. Users can pause data collection, exclude specific apps, and delete stored information at any time.

The company was founded by Alexander Green, Alap Shah, and Naman Shah. The new funding will be used to scale the product and support its broader rollout following its public launch.

“We started with a simple premise: what if your AI assistant was already in the room? That’s the difference between a tool you have to brief and one that’s ready the moment you need it.”
