Live Nation Entertainment announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Movistar Arena Buenos Aires, one of Latin America’s leading live entertainment venues.
The 15,000-capacity arena opened in 2019 and has become one of the region’s premier destinations for international touring artists and leading regional talent. The venue hosts more than 250 events annually and welcomes over 2.5 million fans each year.
Through the acquisition, Live Nation will support the current management team as the venue continues to serve artists, fans, promoters, and partners. Movistar Arena Buenos Aires will remain an open building available to all qualified promoters.
La Nación, the former majority owner of Movistar Arena Buenos Aires, will remain a shareholder and continue supporting the company’s future.
Live Nation said the investment reflects its commitment to expanding access to high-quality live entertainment experiences and supporting leading venues across international markets.
