LJM Group appointed Rob Gelb as Chief Executive Officer to lead the technology-enabled parcel shipping cost optimization company through its next stage of growth.
Gelb brings approximately three decades of experience scaling technology-enabled services businesses.
He will oversee all aspects of LJM.
President and Founder Ken Wood will remain actively involved in major client relationships and the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Under Gelb’s leadership, Valenz completed eight acquisitions.
The company grew from 62 employees to 520 and achieved approximately 30% compound annual growth, including more than 15% organic growth.
Valenz was also named to the Inc. 5000 list in six of Gelb’s seven years leading the business.
Earlier in his career, Gelb held leadership roles at Coventry Workers’ Compensation Services, York Risk Services Group, Intracorp, and Medlogix.
LJM provides carrier contract negotiation support, parcel analytics, ongoing rate optimization, and audit and recovery services.
