Boyne Capital announced that one of its affiliates has made an investment in Local Boy Outfitters, a consumer apparel and lifestyle brand focused on outdoor enthusiasts and Southern culture.
Founded in 2012, Local Boy Outfitters has developed a loyal customer base by maintaining its brand identity while continuously expanding its product assortment. The company is known for delivering thoughtfully designed apparel and accessories at accessible price points, which has contributed to strong demand and retail sell-through performance. The business has largely grown through word-of-mouth marketing and organic customer loyalty.
According to the announcement, the primary use of proceeds from the transaction was to buy out a co-founder who had not been active in the business. David Faulkenberry, Co-founder and CEO of Local Boy Outfitters, will continue leading the company and remain a significant shareholder following the investment.
Boyne Capital partnered with Sisu Equity and Consumer Growth Partners on the transaction.
