Lockheed Martin Awarded $209 Million Navy Contract Modification For SEWIP Systems

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $208.96 million U.S. Navy contract modification to continue producing Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program AN/SLQ-32(V)6 systems.

The Navy issued the firm-fixed-price modification under previously awarded contract N00024-20-C-5503.

The award supports production of the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 configuration, which is part of the Navy’s Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program.

If all available options are exercised, the cumulative value of the underlying contract could reach approximately $1.71 billion.

Most of the work will be performed at Lockheed Martin’s operations in Liverpool, New York, which will account for approximately 78% of the effort.

The remaining 22% will be performed in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

Work under the modification is expected to be completed by September 2029.

The Navy is obligating the full $208.96 million value of the modification at the time of award through multiple funding sources.

Fiscal 2026 shipbuilding and conversion funds account for approximately $129.49 million, representing 62% of the total.

Another $58.15 million, or 28%, will come from fiscal 2026 Navy other procurement funds.

Fiscal 2025 Navy other procurement funding will provide approximately $20.31 million, representing 10% of the award.

The remaining approximately $1.01 million will come from fiscal 2026 Navy research, development, test and evaluation funding.

The obligated funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

The modification was awarded on September 30, 2026.
