Lockheed Martin Secures More Than $226 Million In Defense Contracts For Apache, Electronic Warfare, And F-35 Programs

Lockheed Martin has received four U.S. Department of Defense contract awards and modifications with a combined value of more than $226 million, supporting Apache attack helicopters, naval electronic warfare systems, and multiple F-35 programs.

The largest award is a $117,118,040 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Generation II radar frequency interferometer post-production support services for Apache attack helicopters. The contract includes cost-no-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and firm-fixed-price components.

Work locations and funding for the Apache-related contract will be determined as individual orders are issued, with the overall effort expected to continue through October 12, 2031. One bid was solicited and one was received. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity under contract W58RGZ-27-D-A007.

Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems business also received a $74,294,440 firm-fixed-price modification for production of Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program AN/SLQ-32(V)6 systems. The award includes Foreign Military Sales purchases for Canada, representing 52% of the work, and Japan, representing 47%, along with a 1% purchase for the U.S. Coast Guard.

Approximately $38.4 million in fiscal 2026 Canadian FMS funding, $35.4 million in Japanese FMS funding, and $457,768 in fiscal 2025 Coast Guard procurement funding will be obligated. Work will be performed primarily in Liverpool, New York, and Lansdale, Pennsylvania, through September 2029.

Separately, Lockheed Martin received a $16,111,551 modification supporting avionics test capabilities, cybersecurity modernization, and specialized repair infrastructure for the F-35 Integrated Core Processor. The work also covers engineering, program management, planning, readiness reviews, and introduction-to-service activities intended to support fleet operational readiness.

That F-35 effort will be split evenly between McKinney, Texas, and Palm Bay, Florida, and is expected to be completed in January 2029. Approximately $8.1 million each in fiscal 2026 Air Force and Navy aircraft procurement funding will be obligated.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics also received an $18,789,801 contract modification for system development, demonstration, and integration supporting an F-35 aircraft variant tailored for an unspecified Foreign Military Sales customer.

Approximately 80% of that work will take place in Fort Worth, Texas, with the remaining 20% at undisclosed locations in the continental U.S. Completion is expected in December 2030, with the full $18.8 million being funded by the FMS customer.

Together, the awards expand Lockheed Martin’s work across rotary-wing survivability and sensing, maritime electronic warfare, F-35 cybersecurity and sustainment infrastructure, and international F-35 development.
