LogicMonitor Buys Catchpoint In Deal Valued At Over $250 Million To Build AI-Based Observability Platform

By Amit Chowdhry • Dec 2, 2025

LogicMonitor, an AI-first hybrid observability platform, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Catchpoint, a pioneer in Internet Performance and Digital Experience Monitoring. The combined platform is designed to address the shifting infrastructure demands brought on by GPU-intensive workloads, distributed compute, rising downtime risk, and the mounting operational strain caused by tool sprawl.

LogicMonitor said the acquisition ends the era of reactive observability by merging deep infrastructure telemetry, AI-powered analysis, and Internet-level visibility into one system. Catchpoint’s global network of synthetic, real-user, and network-monitoring vantage points will feed directly into LogicMonitor’s Edwin AI engine, enabling predictive incident detection and deeper automated root-cause analysis.

Investors have characterized this as a firm exit for Catchpoint’s backers, including Battery Ventures and Sapphire Ventures. Catchpoint, long known for helping enterprises maintain reliability across the Internet, now gains expanded scale and AI capabilities under LogicMonitor.

The companies noted that the unified platform will help enterprises eliminate blind spots across cloud, code, and global networks while reducing noise from fragmented observability stacks. With the acquisition now closed, teams are integrating capabilities to accelerate AI-powered innovation for international customers.

AWS re:Invent attendees can see the combined platform at LogicMonitor’s booth #1467. Cantor Fitzgerald served as financial advisor to Catchpoint, and Jefferies LLC and William Blair advised LogicMonitor.

KEY QUOTES:

“This is a defining moment for LogicMonitor and for enterprise technology. Until now, IT teams have been juggling point tools that promise insight but deliver noise. That ends today. Together with Catchpoint we are giving customers the power to predict issues, prevent downtime, and finally make their systems as smart as the people who run them.”

Christina Kosmowski, CEO, LogicMonitor

“Catchpoint was founded to make the Internet better for everyone. We have helped teams detect issues faster, reduce MTTR, and protect billions of sessions. Now, as part of LogicMonitor, we can do it on a global scale and redefine what performance means in the AI era.”

Mehdi Daoudi, CEO and Co-Founder, Catchpoint
