Lone Star Funds has completed the acquisition of RadiciGroup’s High Performance Polymers and Specialty Chemicals businesses and signed binding transaction agreements for the acquisition of DOMO Engineered Materials from DOMO Group, with closing expected imminently. The simultaneous acquisitions will bring together two established platforms to form a global, independent tier-1 compounder.

RadiciGroup is among the world leaders in the production of polyamide polymers, high-performance engineering polymers, and chemical intermediates, including recycled and bio-based solutions. DOMO Engineered Materials, known for its TECHNYL brand, is a global leader in polyamide-based engineered materials with nearly 70 years of experience, serving the automotive, electrical and electronics, building and construction, and industrial sectors.

The combined platform will serve a diversified range of end markets, including automotive, construction, consumer, and industrial applications, leveraging the RadiciGroup, DOMO, and TECHNYL brands. Jochen Fabritius, who brings more than 25 years of industry experience and a decade leading Lone Star portfolio companies, has been appointed CEO of the combined organization. The RadiciGroup transaction completes the final step in a process announced in February 2025.
