Loomis has completed its acquisition of 99.80% of Hermes Transportes Blindados for approximately $297 million, or about SEK 3 billion, establishing the cash and security services company in Peru and expanding its Latin American operations.

The transaction was completed following a public tender offer and satisfaction of the conditions in the companies’ tender offer agreement.

Hermes is a Peruvian security logistics company providing transportation, processing and secure storage of valuables.

Its operations include cash, precious metals and minerals transportation, ATM management and cash processing.

The company employs approximately 3,400 people across 19 branches and serves around 1,000 customers.

Its customer base includes financial institutions, industrial businesses, retailers, public-sector organizations and companies in the mining industry.

Loomis initially announced the transaction on May 5, 2026, after entering into a tender offer agreement with shareholders representing 99.49% of Hermes’ outstanding shares.

The public offer launched August 31.

By the end of the offer period on September 30, approximately 87.1 million shares representing 99.80% of Hermes had been tendered.

Closing occurred October 5 after all required conditions were satisfied.

Hermes’ management team and employees will remain with the business.

Beginning in October 2026, Hermes will be reported within Loomis’ Europe and Latin America segment.

Nordea Bank and Société Générale structured and coordinated the acquisition financing through a committed bridge facility and guarantee facility.

Before closing, Loomis refinanced those facilities using proceeds from its previously announced €300 million bond issuance.
