Loomis announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Transportadora del Interior, a regional cash management company in Argentina.
The company is being acquired from Grupo Coinag and other minority shareholders. The enterprise value is ARS 27.5 billion, or approximately SEK 180 million, on a cash-free and debt-free basis.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026 and is expected to be accretive to Loomis’ operating profit.
Founded in 2018, Transportadora del Interior provides cash management services in Santa Fe and Córdoba, two major provinces in Argentina. The company offers cash-in-transit and cash management services to financial institutions and retail customers.
Transportadora del Interior is headquartered in Rosario, Santa Fe. The company operates three branches, employs approximately 200 people, and maintains a modern vehicle fleet.
In 2025, Transportadora del Interior reported revenue of approximately ARS 14.6 billion, or approximately SEK 96 million.
Loomis said the acquisition will strengthen its geographic footprint in Argentina by adding three branches in two densely populated and economically important regions.
Loomis has operated in Argentina since 2012. After the transaction closes, the company will have operations in Argentina’s three largest cities and surrounding areas: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Rosario.
The acquisition supports Loomis’ strategy of expanding in emerging Latin American markets. Loomis said it sees opportunities to grow the business by strengthening Transportadora del Interior’s offering to small and medium-sized enterprises and expanding within Automated Solutions.
After closing, the business will be integrated into Loomis Argentina and reported within the Europe and Latin America segment.
