LPL Financial announced that Trey Pope, CRPC, ABFP, has joined its broker-dealer and registered investment advisor platform, bringing approximately $160 million in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets. Pope transitions to the firm from Edward Jones.
Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Pope has more than a decade of experience serving a broad client base that includes engineers, medical professionals, government employees, and retirees. His advisory approach centers on long-term relationships and comprehensive financial planning, helping clients align investment strategies with personal values, long-term goals, and legacy objectives.
Pope selected LPL Financial following an extensive due diligence process, citing the firm’s scale, technology platform, and operational resources as key factors. The move is expected to enhance his efficiency and expand the capabilities he can offer clients while maintaining a planning-first philosophy.
LPL leadership emphasized that Pope’s client-focused approach and commitment to values-driven advice align closely with the firm’s broader mission to support independent advisors through technology, flexibility, and business support.
Outside of his professional work, Pope is active in his local community, serving on his church’s finance committee. He lives in the Huntsville area with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters.
