LPL Financial announced that financial advisors Doug Haskin and Jenny Haskin have launched a new independent practice, Haskin Private Wealth Advisors. The firm affiliated with LPL Financial through LPL Independent Advisor Network, the company’s supported independence model.

The advisors oversee approximately $170 million in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets. They join LPL from Wells Fargo.

Based in Sacramento, California, Doug and Jenny Haskin bring more than two decades of combined industry experience to the practice. The husband-and-wife team has worked together for about six years.

Haskin Private Wealth Advisors serves a diverse client base that includes business owners, retirees, multigenerational families, and younger couples. The firm provides guidance across retirement planning, education savings strategies, and broader financial planning needs.

The practice takes a comprehensive and planning-focused approach to client relationships. Through multiple planning conversations and a disciplined process, the team develops personalized strategies designed to evolve with each client’s goals, needs, and life stages.

Doug and Jenny Haskin said they built the firm around a collaborative, family-style environment. Their approach combines analytical insight, planning expertise, and clear communication to help clients feel informed and supported throughout the planning process.

The team chose LPL Independent Advisor Network after an extensive due diligence process. The move allows them to transition to full independence while gaining access to integrated support aligned with their long-term vision.

Haskin Private Wealth Advisors is also expanding its infrastructure to support future growth and improve the client experience. The team has added Michael Graham, a former Wells Fargo banker, as an LPL Registered Administrative Associate and plans to add a full-time office administration team member in the coming weeks.

Through LPL Independent Advisor Network, advisors operate within a supported model that includes peer community access, transition execution, growth coaching, regional support, and consulting across key areas of the business. The model also provides operational, compliance, and administrative support designed to help firms operate more efficiently and grow on their own terms.

Looking ahead, Haskin Private Wealth Advisors plans to expand its service offerings with additional financial planning capabilities. The firm said the goal is to enhance the value it delivers to clients while continuing to build long-term relationships.
