LPL Financial Brings In $265 Million Generational Asset Planning And Cousino Teams

LPL Financial announced it added a couple of teams that both reported serving $265 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets each.

Generational Asset Planning

Financial advisor Tre Panagos joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms. And he reported serving approximately $265 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets and joined LPL from Edward Jones.

Panagos started his career in broadcast journalism and spent several years as a news videographer and director until the long hours and excess travel took a toll on his family. In 2011, he decided to team up with his father in financial services, and he eventually took over the practice after his father’s retirement.

Now one of the Panagos’ daughters is joining his firm while the other daughter is planning to be a valuable business partner in the future. And based in Santa Fe, N.M., Panagos works with attorneys, accountants and other professionals to deliver comprehensive investment strategies that take into consideration all aspects of each client’s financial life.

With the move to LPL, Panagos launched Generational Asset Planning. And he looked forward to being able to operate independently and build out his ideal and multigenerational practice.

Cousino Wealth Advisors

Financial advisors Todd Cousino, Nicholas Hawk and Charles Moyer joined LPL’s employee advisor channel, Linsco by LPL Financial, to launch Cousino Wealth Advisors. And the advisors reported also served about $265 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets and join LPL from Ameriprise.

Based out of Brownstown, Michigan, Cousino and Hawk have worked as a team since 2015, with Moyer joining in 2020. And they built their practice based on a collaborative approach that draws on each advisor’s professional skills and experience. They offer comprehensive financial planning and wealth management using a bucket strategy to grow and preserve wealth for their clients. The advisors are also joined by Senior Client Services Associate Terri Rowe.
