LPL Financial announced it has appointed Suzanne Elovic as executive vice president and head of supervision and Mike Murphy as executive vice president and head of service, expanding leadership across two functions that the firm positions as central to the advisor experience. Both executives will be based in New York and will report to John O’Neill, executive vice president and head of Service & Supervision.
In her new role, Elovic will lead efforts to modernize LPL’s supervision experience, with a focus on scaling oversight, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and increasing proactive, consultative engagement with advisors. Elovic brings more than three decades of financial services experience across legal, compliance, regulatory, and regtech roles. Her background includes leadership positions at FINRA, UBS and Carta, and most recently at Parallel Markets, where she served as president and head of partnerships. She earned a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. from Brandeis University.
Murphy will oversee LPL’s frontline service teams, with responsibility for designing and deploying programs aimed at enhancing experiences for advisors, clients and employees. He most recently served as chief operations officer at LongBridge Securities and previously held senior roles at E*TRADE by Morgan Stanley, where he led digital direct client services, as well as TD Ameritrade, where he led retail support and operations. He holds a B.S. in economics from Oneonta State University.
LPL said the appointments build on recent additions to its leadership ranks, including Emily Field as chief people officer and Matt Morningstar as chief legal officer.
