LPL Financial has appointed Ilan Davidovici as executive vice president of corporate strategy, tasking him with helping shape the firm’s long-term vision, set strategic priorities, and evaluate growth opportunities, the company said Monday.
Based in LPL’s New York office, Davidovici will lead the corporate strategy team and partner across the organization to support the company’s push for “sustainable success,” according to LPL.
Davidovici brings more than two decades of experience spanning strategy, digital transformation, and client experience in financial services and enterprise technology. Most recently, he served as principal and general partner at Edward Jones, where he led client and branch experience management and helped implement an experience-first operating model to strengthen advisor and client engagement.
Prior to Edward Jones, Davidovici held senior roles at Salesforce, where he launched and scaled the company’s wealth and asset management offering globally. He previously worked at Deloitte Consulting, leading transformation programs for large financial institutions. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Citadel Trust Advisors, a wealth and trust administration firm focused on growth.
LPL, one of the largest players in the U.S. advisor-mediated wealth management market, said it supports more than 32,000 financial advisors and the wealth management practices of roughly 1,100 financial institutions. The firm reported approximately $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets under custody and service for about 8 million Americans.
Davidovici earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications, marketing and business studies from the University of Texas and completed international business studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
