LPT Aperture Holdings announced it has signed definitive agreements to acquire the technology assets of Reside and Humaniz, positioning the two platforms for expansion across the U.S. and Canada while keeping both offerings brokerage-agnostic.
The Lake Mary, Florida-based company, which is the parent of LPT Realty, Aperture Global Real Estate, and Listing Power Tools, said the transactions will include capital investment intended to accelerate growth for each platform while maintaining independent operations and leadership. LPT Aperture Holdings also cited its No. 2 ranking on the 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 to support its broader growth ambitions.
The company framed the deals around the rising importance of teams in residential real estate, arguing that access to technology, training, and talent development will determine which operators are best positioned for the next market cycle. LPT Aperture Holdings said it wants both platforms to remain available to teams regardless of brokerage affiliation, with the stated goal of widening access to technology and services that have often been concentrated among top producers.
Reside, founded in 2023, is described by the company as a coaching and leader development platform built by Jon Cheplak, Suneet Agarwal, Preston Guyton, and Nick McLean. LPT Aperture Holdings said the founders collectively bring 70 years of experience building teams, coaching high performers, and designing systems aimed at scalable growth. The company said Reside has supported 112 teams across North America in roughly 2.5 years and that participating teams have doubled year-over-year gross commission income, supported by what it characterized as immersive development and leadership programming.
As part of the transaction, Cheplak said he plans to remain involved as a consultant after the acquisition, with a focus on helping team leaders continue developing leadership and recruiting skills. LPT Aperture Holdings positioned the partnership as an attempt to scale coaching, strategic guidance, and technology beyond elite producers to a broader cohort of team leaders.
Humaniz, launched in 2022, is an AI-powered recruiting platform founded by Chris Giannos. LPT Aperture Holdings said Giannos built the platform after scaling his own team from two agents to more than 200 in just over two years, aiming to automate administrative and marketing demands tied to recruiting so teams can prioritize relationship-building and outcomes. The company said Humaniz has facilitated more than 50,000 agent introductions and contributed to more than $5 billion in closed transactions for hundreds of teams and brokerages.
LPT Aperture Holdings said Humaniz is preparing to launch AgentIntelligence, a product it described as a data- and AI-driven system designed to make recruiting more automated and precise by incorporating MLS-level data and additional agent-level signals. The company said the product is intended to operate independently of legacy systems and to help teams identify targets, systematize multi-channel outreach, and generate recruiting conversations with greater precision.
For LPT Aperture Holdings, the acquisitions are framed as infrastructure bets intended to strengthen the broader real estate ecosystem by expanding access to tools for teams and brokerages. Palmer said the company views the current point in the cycle as an opportunity to invest in the capabilities that will matter most as market conditions change.
KEY QUOTES
“Exceptional platforms deserve the backing to reach their full potential… We’re giving [Reside and Humaniz] the resources to go bigger and support more teams than ever who are serious about winning their market.”
Robert Palmer, Founder And CEO, LPT Aperture Holdings
“Reside was built on the foundation of partnering with the most competent and accomplished leadership in the industry to deliver coaching and consulting to top producers who want to build a team, as well as established teams who are ready to go to the next level. Over the last 2.5 years, I am proud to say we have contributed to the growth of over 100 teams across North America as well as the attraction of hundreds of agents to their respective teams. We were approached by numerous respected individuals and companies during the meteoric rise of the Reside team platform. The number one thing we measured was who could add the most value and help take these teams further with intellectual assets and resources. Robert Palmer and LPT were a natural fit when looking at the best interests of our members and their vision for growth. Robert is one of the best marketers, business operators, and growth strategists in the real estate industry and is uniquely positioned to support the growth vision of team leaders. So much so that I have decided to stay on as a consultant after the acquisition in my role of helping team leaders continuously develop their leadership and recruiting skills. What Reside offers aspiring and existing team leaders across all brands just went next level.”
