Lumexa Imaging has added four new outpatient imaging centers in Spartanburg, South Carolina; Concord, North Carolina; Wexford, Pennsylvania; and Niceville, Florida, marking another step in its disciplined, multi‑channel growth strategy.
Two of the new locations were added through acquisitions with joint venture partners Advocate Health and UPMC, reinforcing Lumexa’s model of expanding in high‑growth markets through partnerships with leading health systems. With these additions, Lumexa now operates more than 190 outpatient imaging centers nationwide.
The company said the expansion keeps it on pace with its goal of opening 8 to 10 de novo centers annually. The Wexford, Pennsylvania location also represents the first site contributed through Lumexa’s new joint venture with UPMC, a milestone in what the company described as a long‑term, scalable partnership. Lumexa continues to benefit from strong industry tailwinds, including an aging population, rising preventative screening rates, imaging‑driven treatment pathways, and the ongoing shift from hospital‑based to outpatient imaging in a fragmented, capacity‑constrained market.
The company emphasized that joint ventures remain a core component of its capital‑efficient growth strategy, enabling expanded access to high‑quality, cost‑effective imaging services while supporting the broader shift to lower‑cost sites of care. As Lumexa moves through 2026 and beyond, it expects to continue growing through a combination of de novo development, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, supporting long‑term expansion and value creation.
