Lumivero, a provider of research and decision software, has acquired SharpCloud, a UK-based visualization software company that helps organizations connect disparate datasets into a single interactive view for business and portfolio decision-making.
The deal expands Lumivero’s decision software portfolio and is intended to help enterprises break down data silos, understand dependencies across initiatives, and communicate analysis in a format executives can use to make faster calls on strategy and project investments. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Lumivero said it plans to integrate SharpCloud with its Predict! and @RISK products, positioning the combined offering as a project portfolio management and strategic decision-making platform that pairs visualization with risk analysis and simulation. The company said the integrated workflow will support what-if modeling, risk and opportunity communication, project controls, and interdependency mapping across portfolios—capabilities aimed at helping teams understand total risk exposure and potential outcomes before committing resources.
SharpCloud will continue to support its existing enterprise customers under the brand “SharpCloud, from Lumivero,” according to the companies.
SharpCloud, founded in 2012, positions its platform as “visual business alignment software” for decision-makers who need to see interdependencies, filter information, and keep activities aligned with strategy. The company said it serves more than 100 companies globally and has more than 18,000 users, with use cases that include business road-mapping, innovation and portfolio management, and risk management.
Lumivero, headquartered in Denver, said it supports customers across academia and multiple industries—including industrials, energy, financial services, life sciences, and manufacturing—through a combination of data analysis, AI-powered workflows, and scientific methodologies designed to help users translate complex data into actionable insights.
