LyfeSci Research & Innovation, a Chicago-based full-service clinical research organization, has acquired Clinically Media to bring patient recruitment in-house and expand its end-to-end clinical trial capabilities, the companies said Monday.
Clinically Media specializes in data-driven and inclusive patient enrollment strategies, and its capabilities—ranging from targeted digital outreach to community-based recruitment and patient-experience programs—will be embedded directly into LyfeSci’s CRO workflow, including protocol feasibility, site selection, recruitment forecasting, and ongoing enrollment optimization.
“Patient recruitment is no longer a downstream activity, it is central to study execution,” said Dr. Tapan Parikh, founder and CEO of LyfeSci. He said the integration will better connect study design decisions, site selection strategy, and recruitment execution to improve planning and execution for sponsors.
Clinically Media’s experience in dermatology, neurology, and psychiatry aligns with LyfeSci’s existing focus areas and is expected to support expansion into additional therapeutic areas. The deal also targets one of clinical research’s most persistent bottlenecks: timely and representative enrollment.
Clinically Media will continue operating under the LyfeSci Research & Innovation brand, with its team fully integrated into LyfeSci’s CRO services.
LyfeSci is a physician-founded CRO focused on patient-centered methodologies and partnerships with clinical sites and sponsors, with experience across multiple therapeutic areas and deep expertise in dermatology and central nervous system research, including psychiatry and neurology. Clinically Media describes itself as a full-service agency focused on cost-efficient, data-driven patient recruitment.
