Madrivo, a performance marketing platform operating under the Benevolent Generation (BenGen) holding company, has acquired MoneyGeek, a digital personal finance and insurance comparison company. Financial terms were not disclosed. MoneyGeek co-founders Dan Schuessler and Doug Jones will remain with the company as Co-CEOs following the close of the transaction.
MoneyGeek publishes editorial content and comparison tools across auto, home, life, and health insurance, as well as broader personal finance topics. Over seven years, the company has built a library of content designed to help consumers compare coverage options, understand costs, and select financial products. Its assets include proprietary data and products and direct relationships with insurance carriers.
Madrivo operates a performance marketing platform that generates more than 10 billion monthly impressions across email, search, social, display, and partner channels, connecting consumers with brand partners in financial services, insurance, and home services. Madrivo is part of BenGen, a founder-led platform that acquires and scales marketing and technology businesses through a shared operating infrastructure.
The strategic logic of the deal is the combination of MoneyGeek’s content authority and carrier relationships with Madrivo’s distribution network and marketing capabilities. The companies plan to expand MoneyGeek’s consumer reach across email, paid media, and partner marketing channels — areas where Madrivo’s existing infrastructure gives the combined entity immediate scale. Both companies also intend to invest in AI-powered search and generative engine optimization (GEO), positioning MoneyGeek to remain discoverable as consumer search behavior shifts away from traditional search engines toward AI-generated results.
Longer term, the acquisition supports a product vision centered on simplifying how consumers research, compare, and purchase insurance and other financial products — moving MoneyGeek from a content destination toward a more transactional platform.
